Introducing the mesmerizing Miss Baby Sol – A powerhouse performer, able to
effortlessly weave an atmospheric sonic tapestry of genre-busAng sensuality.
Miss Baby Sol is a BriAsh Soul arAst born in the DemocraAc Republic of Congo. As a
singer, Baby has worked with arAsts including Paloma Faith, Jamie Cullum, Jazz Jamaica,
Laura Mvula, and Florence + the Machine.
Baby’s music is influenced by arAsts such as Nina Simone, Eartha KiQ, Grace Jones, Billie
Holliday and Sarah Vaughan, and encompasses powerful Soul, Jazz and Reggae.
Miss Baby Sol released her debut EP in 2011, which included three singles, ‘Always’, ‘No
No’ and ‘She Cries’. The laQer song was released in support of the efforts of Amnesty
InternaAonal to stop rape as a weapon of war, as well as in recogniAon of its part in
establishing the InternaAonal Criminal Court.
In addiAon to her solo projects and charity work, Baby has collaborated and worked
with a number of people as a songwriter. These include her chart-topping collaboraAon,
as co-writer and vocalist with UK dance producer Redlight, as well as for the 2014
campaign single for No More Page 3, ‘Now’s The Time’.
Referenced by peers and fans as a ‘trailblazer’ and ‘phenomenal force’, she capAvates
with goosebump-raising performances featuring unique hypnoAc melodies and soul-
baring lyrics.

Happy 2026 my people! Apologies for the tardiness 🤭
2025 was a rough one I’m not gonna lie.
Suffering loss, people passing, the pain of knowing that life be lifing while the joy of living in moments where friends, chosen/family, have restored hope and protected heart. The work of healing. The trials that come with acknowledging emotional connection with self.
“I been going through it y’all! I been losing my mutha f*ing medulla” (to quote Cardi B)
There were points where I wasn’t sure I was gonna be able to do it. Get through it, you know? And I did NOT do it alone. You better know that.
Thank you, thank you all for supporting me personally (with love, kind ears, understanding, camaraderie, hugs, words of affirmation and so much more) and professionally (with encouragement, gigs, music, posts, sharing knowledge, advice) reminding me of the lessons learnt that one often forgets when under pressure). You know who you are. We made it. I am truly grateful.
I am also very grateful to those who don’t know me very well or at all! Who have taken the time to get to know me through my music or by coming to my shows or by just saying hello in the places that we have happened to meet! You make me want to actually go outside! And that is wonderful! Cause I could quite easily disappear into a dark hole of despair, never to travel the underground to Soho ever again! Soho is a bit dry now to be fair… but we must keep pushing! Haha!
LETS GO OUTSIDE THIS YEAR AND DO ALL THE THINGS! TOGETHER! 🥹
