Sperm Whale…ancient sentient species preceding humans on this planet by 15 million years. Their sophisticated communication and social interaction are proof of higher intelligence far superior to humans. I wonder what the loudest animal in the world would say to us @projectceti
So grateful for every moment in their presence!

As the world continues to fight the COVID19, I find myself incredibly grateful to be in the company of my loved ones. My thoughts are with everyone that’s being affected by these difficult, unpredictable and unprecedented times🙏🏼 🎤 @samueljmusic “Into the Light “

Face of extinction ?
Chimpanzee population is rapidly decreasing.
Less than 300 ,000 individuals left in the wild.
Habitat degradation, consumption of bush meet and illegal pet trade are the major contributing factors.
I took this photo in a chimp sanctuary in Kenya. Most of it’s residents were rescued from irresponsible owners and research laboratories. Unfortunately chimpanzees are not endemic to Kenya so even after their successful rehabilitation it’s not likely they will ever be introduced back to the wild😔 Are we really going to let one of our genetically closest relative go extinct?? #olpejeta #savethechimps
Sharks vs. Humans
Not a fair fight
Despite their fearsome reputation sharks kill only about 6 people a year worldwide. On the other hand humans kill more than 100 million sharks every year 🤯
who is the true ruthless predator ?

It may feel at times like the light is a long way off, and that you're exhausted, overwhelmed, and drowning and all that life can drop on you....but you know what YOU SO GOT THIS 💙🤗🌊
Beautiful memories swimming/flying side by side with this beautiful pregnant BIGGEST FISH in Galapagos 🙏🏻🙌🏻 @sealegacy@shawnheinrichs #whalesharks
Photo by @ShawnHeinrichs // THE BIGGEST FISH - and the biggest shark in all the ocean is the whale shark. What is remarkable is that, although whale sharks are far and above the largest of all sharks, growing to lengths of over 50 feet (with up to 60 feet reported), they are completely harmless, gentle and docile beings. We had the pleasure of interacting with and filming these magnificent beings in both Galapagos and Isla Mujeres in a one month period. Isla Mujeres is world renowned for the largest aggregations of whale sharks in the world, while Galapagos is famous for the biggest whale sharks ever recorded. In this photo taken in Galapagos, you can see the massive size of the shark in comparison to our friend @mishajannard . 💪🦈💪 Whether it be diving with one massive whale shark or swimming with a gathering of hundreds, the deep connection and wonder we experienced was same. These brilliant beings are powerful ambassadors for sharks and all species that call the oceans their home and we are so deeply grateful for the privilege to experience their company. 💙🐋🦈💙

Dream or nightmare?
I’ve had crush on hammerheads for a long time:) What a weird prehistoric looking creature! Although lethal predators they have this goofy look about them that made me laugh every time they came “eyeballing” me up close ( thank you @hecsaquatic )
I was fortunate to join @sealegacy@bluespherefoundation expedition to Galapagos and see my favorite shark in strong numbers, safe protected and thriving in Galapagos. The thought that hundreds will die falling victim to illegal shark finning operation during their migration rips my heart in pieces !
