this fan art was orginally a series between me and some friends during the pandemic, as a way of getting back into art. shoutout to @tomokki7 for being the only wan to post hers! xD like a lot of people we have a special place for Ghibli movies in our hearts wkwk
anyways, i didn't post it before since there was supposed to be Boh the mouse under Chihiro but that file got corrupted which you can imagine was devistating for me at the time๐ฅฒ still after printing out my work for people at fairs i gained a new appreciation for it~ maybe it was just meant to turn out this way.
i promised myself i'd atleast try to post more, so even with archives first; its a start :>
this is actually an old one that was for school but i redid it because i felt like i could do better, and rn i am doing better :) cuz iโll be honest with you the original person in this was drowning but now sheโs just kinda floating. which might actually be due to my shift of mind.
iโm sure youโll noticed the huge time gap from now and my last post haha. this is kinda my gift to myself to get back into drawing what i like :3

When all is lost, hope can always be found.
It's the first time in a while that I made something cuz I really wanted to. The state where you just can't get it off your mind until you're done making it; I've missed that.
I was close to giving up on art altogether on so many occasions, with the rise of AI and conventions not being what they used to be, I grew more and more discouraged.
Still, during the typhoon and sitting in the dark really reminded me of the little girl who used to swear she'd do anything to become an artist. I was reminded of the love for the craft, the people by my side, and the hope that remains in the filipino people inspite of all the circumstances. Which is why I'm donating part of my profits for this upcoming event to Typhoon Tino efforts. Though I'm not in the postion to help, with your support I'll be able to do so much more.
