Another year, another year-end recap! SO much happened this year, so this might get a bit wordy, but bear with me. 1. I had my very first photoshoot for official artist pictures 2. Spent the most wonderful birthday with friends and was gifted my VERY FIRST PAINTING EVER (PM me if you want to commission my friend hehe) 3. Performed at Fete De La Musique Cebu for the very first time and experienced it as an audience member for the very first time as well! 4. Traveled around Cebu a lot and went to Dumanjug and Tabuelan for the first time 5. Wrote a song in under 7 minutes and started a new album (yet again) 6. Uploaded my VERY FIRST ALBUM, THREE YEARS IN THE MAKING (in terms of production, 9 years total though HAHA)!!!! 7. Did several performances for good events, including a farmers' market, a benefit gig, and an anti-corruption/benefit gig! 8. Saw my songs in physical form for the first time ever 9. Secret! 10. LAUNCHED MY MOTHERFUCKING DEBUT ALBUM TO THE MOST AWESOMEST CROWD!!!!! 11. Took part in a TuneCore Demo Feedback event that reassured me I was on the right track for production vision 12. Beautiful pics from @thebordzpatak from my album launch coming soon! All in all, a very very fulfilling year. I'm so grateful to everyone who helped me achieve my creative visions and/or made me life so much richer with their friendship and support. And, in case yall are wondering, yes more music is coming soon (as soon as I get money together for production LMAO). 1 album down, 6 more to go for production, and 4 others to finish writing! I'm not a big fan of smiling with my teeth, but @lexi_eyyy did a great job of (tricking) making me smile on set. I never would've thought I'd actually feel comfortable with smiling this wide, and much less liking the pictures afterwards! A year ago, I never would've thought I'd actually do a photoshoot of my own free will. For most of my life, I've been set on keeping my real face out of the spotlight – which is kinda hard when you're doing gigs but well, I didn't think things through, clearly HAHA On the day of the photoshoot, I had nothing but two slices of kimbap, 1/4 of a cookie, a few sips of water, and PURE ADRENALINE in me for the whole day. I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but everyone on the set made me feel comfortable in my own skin, and, more importantly, confident in front of the camera.
