We are pleased to announce the new Mintamintae drop on @niftygateway , a charitable project called: “Uganda Heartland”, made by our artist and renowned photographer @pedro_j_saavedra . 🗓️On Thursday the 5th from 6:30 PM 🗒️2 OE and 1 Ranked Auction “Uganda Heartland” is a charity project by photographer Pedro J. Saavedra supported by MintaMintae Collective. This journey started last December when visiting of @love_kafunjo , a small recently created village in the district of Ibanda in Uganda on July 1st 2005. Pedro documented their reality while helping the community to develop two local, independent projects. The first project is the Kafunjo Community Project, led by @bibyomumisho . It started in 2013 with the objective of providing food, basic education, and medical care to the poorest children in the villages. The second is @tonny_mutekyereze Mushunga Community Project, founded Tonny Mutekyereze. It´s mission is to provide orphans, widows, and underprivileged within the Mushunga community with a dignified life and the possibility of raising children in a life centered on Christian spirituality, love, respect, and acceptance.
