I joke to everyone that the more stressed I am the more that I do my hair but honestly I’ve said it so much it’s become the truth. FULLY stayed up till 5am last night studying and taking out my braids at the same time. I suppose I just needed my hands to stay busy but no regrets because the better I feel that I look the better I do on my exams 💁♀️ it lowkey works though because I talk out loud when I study so stuff actually sticks

1. Couldn’t find any where quiet to shamelessly eat the two packs of Publix sushi I got so I resorted to a stair well. I’m finally almost done reading the Davinci Code by Dan Brown for the first time. the first time I started reading it last year I stopped at around 65 and now I’m finally at chapter 67 and rereading it from the start. I took a brief intermission to reread the battle of the labyrinth from the Percy Jackson series though

#elfpartner Even though I don’t break out often, this @elfcosmetics exfoliating toner got rid of some of my stubborn acne within a few days 👀 I’m also so impressed with the skin tint. I don’t usually wear skin makeup products (hence no brush) but it stayed on all day and is lightweight enough that I forgot I had any on!

I didn’t expect myself to like brown mascara as much as I ended up doing so. It adds dimension without being too striking and it suits my eyebrow color better.
I was also a little worried if the eyeliner was going to be too difficult to work with (I usually only use liquid so I can get the lines I want), but it has a buttery smooth slightly metallic formula that doesn’t irritate my water line

Finals season is breathing over my shoulder
this past week has had some of the most Georgia tech days of my life. Exam and final design due within the same week, overnighter in the CULC, seeing the ramblin wreck before an exam, studying out so late that tech tower’s lights are off by the time you leave the library, submitting a physics lab and then going out within the same hour. I love it
@emestudios_ sent over the some pieces and oh my gosh the detail and the fit of everything. I wore the white etiq formal shirt to an AI conference and got a lot of compliments on the horizontal bar that connects the collar. Everyone has been big fans of the jeans and I learned yesterday that the label is also a slot for the belt to go through. Post breaking everything down coming this week. I love brands with intention
I love jazz clubs, I didn’t realize there was so many in Atlanta to be honest, glad I’m surrounded by people that share my love for the genre. There was a live jazz night at a restaurant and goodness gracious I got peer pressured into singing a song and i already knew it was out of my range but I persevered and I feel like I’m a better person because of it. The grandmas loved me 🤷♀️

and I’m tired. I’m so fed up and I’m so thankful that I’ve been blessed to go to an institute that I’m able to work on the solutions I don’t see or hear enough people working on otherwise.
