What we learnt from our last pop up Hi there - we’re Tofu Fun and we have a dream to bring the best tofu pudding or taufufa to London. We’re still really early on in our journey but in January we held our 2nd ever pop up! The reception was amazing - we couldn’t believe the turnout we had from you guys but tbh we did run into some issues: 1. We didn’t make enough tofu - we prepped the most tofu we have ever prepped in one go before, but it still wasn’t enough and we ended up selling out with an hour and half of service to go. 2. People had to wait way too long - we heard that some people actually waited up to 1 hour for tofu and that’s way too slow so we’re working on how to be more efficient next time. We are so grateful for all the support and are learning so much from every single event that we do! If you wanna try our tofu - our next pop up will be taking place on Sunday 1 March from 12 - 4pm or until sold out at Zao An cafe in Islington. This is a Lunar New Year collab with our friends at Two Roosters who sell delicious and authentic Hainanese chicken rice - make sure you don’t miss this! 2nd Tofu Fun pop up ✅ We wanted to say a HUGE HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our pop up at @zaoancollective on Saturday. We were truly blown away by the turnout! We know we have a lot to improve on though. We heard some people waited 1 hour to be served and we sold out out before everyone was able to get a portion. We’re really sorry about the long wait 😭 this is only our 2nd ever stall so we are going to WORK HARD to improve our processes so we can make sure everyone gets a bowl next time!
