Thanks to everyone who came to our LNY special collab with @bao_london 🐎 Great to see a mixture of serious concentration and big smiles all night, plus a few intrigued and questioning faces because we love to judge mahjong moves (and maybe singing). Last night, Chinatown kicked off Chinese New Year celebrations early at @lotusgardenchinatown to welcome the Year of the Horse! 🐎🧧🀄️ An evening of learning the art of mahjong, with a beautiful live Guzheng performance, delicious food, and great company. A few more weeks until Lunar New Year! As part of the ESEA Community Centre’s Year of the Horse fundraiser this Saturday Feb 7th, we’re hosting a special evening session 🐴 From 6–8pm, we’ll be hosting mahjong musical chairs as well as teaching tables for beginners 🪑🎶 🎟️ UPDATE 🎟️ You can book to join musical chairs as an experienced player or as a beginner, OR book a spot on our teaching tables as a complete beginner.
