Perhaps at this point, I need to acknowledge that I can’t do everything at once; and asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Therefore, I’m looking for an angel to help me with the process of art applications. (PAID!) Strong writing skills in English, with understanding of art ecosystems and art disciplines.

Living with hiv is no longer a death sentence, if I can survive more than a decade, so can you! ❤️🩹 let’s hope for the future.
I love you!
Some texts are waiting for you. They have always been there, needing a few more summers before the encounter.
Eight years ago, when I was new to Sussex — newer still to the English language and to academic writing — SJ was my supervisor. (That was before the age of AI) With my broken English, she still commented and gave feedback line by line, sentence by sentence, her rigour is something I’m still grateful for, all these years later.
Now, when I got to the reference from Beckett (not the cat, but the writer) in the preface of SJ’s Performance Theatre and the Poetics of Failure, it goes, “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”
I really had to close the book, take a deep breath, and feel the beauty of life itself that travels across time, languages, generations and cultures. Like what SJ and I agreed: even given another chance, we would choose the same lives. The imperfections and failures are what make a life ours.
If you haven’t read this book — read it. And if you have, perhaps it’s time to read it again. It is not only for the theatre maker, but life in general.
For @sarajanebailes with love
I took this postcard from @sarajanebailes office today; it was photographed by Hugo Glendinning while she was working on Pete’s The Möbius Room, back in June 1993. Sitting on the train back to London now, I can’t stop thinking about it.
Isn’t life crazy? To have the privilege of being taught by them both — Pete Brooks for my Master degree in Central Saint Martin and Sara Bailes for my bachelor degree in University of Sussex — first as my professors, then as my coaches and mentors, and now as friends. Both of them have profoundly shaped my creative path, and supported me through my academic journey. How amazing life as it is 🌊
Campaign #1 for my Website launching 📹
First time tried collaborating with Google Lab’s AI filmmaking tool FLOW. Seeing my super 8 film Blue Dream (2023) combining with AI art, the ABSURDITY kinda serve. In terms of AI in art, I mean, i am an optimistic nihilist after all. What do you think?
Campaign #3 film ‘I KNEW THESE PEOPLE WHO CAN THRN EVERYTHING INTO AN ADVENTURE’ made by my years of super 8 footages when travelling
Let’s reimagine the way we ‘watch’ film.
Step 1 mute this video, only watch it.
Step 2 unmute this video, close your eyes, only listen to it.
Step 3 combine sounds and pictures together, ‘watch’ it as normal.
Sorry I forgot to tell you guys I’m a trained accordionist. Just one of my hidden talents 🪗
