📌Chef Angelo Competiello started his culinary journey alongside his father at the A&S Fine Foods/Pork Stores, and after building his experience, he later opened his own location in Wyckoff, NJ. Chef Competiello has since opened Alta Irpinia, a new business in Suffern, NY, honoring his father’s Italian heritage. Bringing Alta Irpinia to the Hudson Valley, his Lafayette Ave Salumeria features wood fired cooking and pizza, carefully sourced Italian groceries, salumi, homemade and Italian cheeses and represents "cucina casalinga” home cooking.
📌A graduate of The French Culinary Institute, Chef Michael Cosenza’s love for food and cooking sparked at an early age and continued to grow throughout his life. Chef Cosenza has worked in some of New Jersey’s premier dining establishments, climbed to Executive Chef at age 25, and was cordially invited to cook at the prestigious James Beard Foundation. Cosenza is the Chef/Co-Owner/Operator of Mike’s Pasta Shoppe in Nutley, NJ, and has been hyper focused on the art of pasta making, supplying some of NJ’s best chefs and restaurants with their pasta.
📌Pastry Chef Gina Roselle-Broschart, graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and Pastry Chef Nancy Lee, graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education are co-owners of The Vintage Cake in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. They started the company in 2014, and have become a staple in New Jersey for their stunning, custom wedding and specialty cakes and desserts.
📌Chef Biagio Settepani has been in the baking industry since 1973. He is a Certified Master Baker and part of the Academia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani. At the age of 21, he took over the reins of Brunos Bakery, in New York City. He continues to teach the love of baking at various schools to the new generation of pastry chefs, including the art of panettone.
