// Mimen
In this contribution, @mimen_____ reflects on @nosedrip ’s 6 hour set at Waking Life - an eclectic performance that initially resisted easy entry before revealing something quietly profound. What appeared to begin as a somewhat disorienting, winding journey eventually gave way to the kinds of moments of collective beauty remembered long after the music stops.
The experience became a reminder of how music can reward patience - and how certain places seem to hold a special space for these moments to surface naturally.
@mimen_____ compliments this reflection with an hour of downtempo delights, with a nod to the artistry of giving the unexpected it’s place to shine.

The leaves are falling, and nature’s colors are shifting—it’s officially fall, our favorite time of year. What better moment to introduce our new 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, curated just for your listening pleasure. With fresh designs by Julie de Vrieze and a blend of mixes from both familiar and emerging talents, we’re excited to share this journey with you.
Kicking off the series is 𝗠𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻, a young Parisian artist with a relentless passion. After eight months of perseverance and dedication, it’s finally time to release his stunning ambient mix.
“I am a visual designer living in Paris. I have been collecting records for more than ten years, focusing on electronic music and jazz. I fell into the ambient rabbit hole during the COVID lockdowns. This mix synthesises my most cherished and spiritual records, blending sci-fi, organic and dreamy textures. It’s a dance in the void and a longing for connection in a world where our bonds are breaking.” - @mimen_____
