A Word from the Director of "Ahora va ver tráfico":
Keep on going with your silly dream...
I continue to be fueled by my passion for art-making, my desire to collaborate with the people who inspire me, and the need to leave someone, somewhere out there feeling seen and heard through the stories I write.
This three and a half minute short film offers a tiny window into the lives of two sisters who must learn to lean on each other while their mother reaches her final moments in life.
The sisterly bond that exists onscreen was just as present behind the scenes. I am thankful for my friendships with Miranda and Brandy, the latter of whom has been by my side for over a decade. This film exists, in part, because of their love and support for me and each other.
This is the second film I've produced and written, and the first I've directed. At 13 years old I imagined myself an actress...but to her I now say, dream bigger. ✨️

Just one more chance to join the Séance. This journey has been such a beautiful experience of exploration of what drives each one of us and how are world dictates our options. With the phenomenal script from @yourmothersdaughter , the exceptional vision of Director @milliesworld_ and a cast that’s as kind as they are talented, this is has been absolute joy…even as we descend into horror…🕯️😉
On Thursday, November 13, we hosted our Latine After Hours Mixer at Dominican-owned speakeasy @thewalkinn_ny in Williamsburg, in partnership with @paellaclubla and vecinosnyc — and wow, what a night! From signature cocktails and an incredible DJ to some of the best pizza in BK — the vibes were just right. But the best part? The people.
If you’re new here, @unifuturanyc is a collective for NYC Latine creatives to connect, learn, and build together. At the start of the year, @jluissdenis , @ramon_pesante , @milliesworld_ , and @cup_of_johanna sat down to talk about what our community needed most in 2025. The answer was clear: connection.
In a time where so many feel isolated — politically, creatively, or simply from living online more than in real life — our desire for comunidad hasn’t disappeared. Neither has our urge to create. We realized that for Latine creatives to truly thrive, we need safe spaces where we can show up as ourselves, share ideas, and make art together.
That’s why uni-futura was born — a no-pressure, intentionally joyful space rooted in community, expression, and creativity. Art builds culture. Community sustains it.
Happy holidays, mi gente. Here’s to more nights like this and even deeper connection in the new year. ✨ Photos by @lolitaosorio
Our 10 Year Festival is just around the corner and we are hard at work on bringing these groundbreaking short plays to life!

Séance is an intimate, high-stakes one-act about three sisters who’ve built their lives on illusion, performance, and — perhaps — real supernatural power.
