Alright, Iâve awoken from my Instagram slumber.
Letâs kick things back off with this portrait of Kane from Alien (1979). This piece fought me just about every single step of the way, and went through multiple different iterations. It was definitely a learning experience, and I picked up some new painting and woodworking techniques. Ultimately, I am extremely satisfied with how this project turned out. Itâs up there as one of my favorite things Iâve ever made.

Crystal Bowie is the main antagonist in the 1982 anime series, Space Adventure Cobra. This piece was made for last monthâs âAnime in LAâ group exhibition presented by @spoke_art . Originally released in 2020 at the opening reception of âHEADS UP!â, my two person show with @rat136 at recess gallery in SF.
This mask was sculpted by special effects master @gregaronowitz , vacuum-formed at his art department @barnyardfx , and painted my me! A monstrously cool collaboration! They also come in a custom box that I designed. Get one before they go back to the lab!đŠâĄď¸
