Although it’s called “the fastest two minutes in sports“ I also consider it the longest lead in when compared to the event itself. Caltrans made some changes overnight at the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge toll plaza. Your left lanes are blocked as they do updating work to the toll taking components overhead. Stay to your right and offer additional congestion while work gets completed.

This weekend's 70-hour closure for lanes of NORTHbound 19th Ave. thru SF is underway and we saw the jam form as the closure started this morning at 7a... Our update during the Midday broadcast showed continued slowing for NB and WESTbound routes heading toward the alterante Sunset Blvd. Plan on delays heading north thru the City for the weekend. I'm hoping the paving project gets completed a little earlier than projected but we'll be here to let you know how Monday morning's commute taking shape, whatever the status. @NBCBayArea@mikeynoway
