@the_american_pro_ RECAP 🇺🇸 • What. A. Day. Such an unbelievable experience and I’m blessed to have been apart of it. With that said, I underperformed at this meet, by quite a lot. I had some high expectations for myself but I knew I had to pivot and take what was there in the moment. This is going to be a long one, buckle up. • Ended up: 8/9 Squat - 672 lbs (11 lb meet PR) Bench - 391 lbs Deadlift - 738 lbs (27 lb meet PR) Total - 1802 (28 lb PR) DOTS - 487 PR • With nearly all PR’s across the board I cant be too hard on myself. This was by a wide margin the hardest prep to date. Nagging injuries, some minor some a little more serious. Life obstacles. Self doubt. Catastrophic accidents mere days before the meet…. The list goes on. But I’m proud that I showed up and did the best I could on the day. • First things first, THANK YOU to my Fiancée @00hanson for literally everything. This meet wouldn’t have happened without you ❤️ • Biggest thanks to the ole ball coach and great friend @ct_whitney for calling a near flawless game plan and prep! Not sure you guys realize how hard this dude works but he’s able to do it all and not once make it about himself. The definition of a selfless person. Appreciate all you do for all of us homie 💯🤝 • @su.tren for capturing these amazing moments for me and the rest of the @pwrbldliftingclub crew! • Thank you @micah_marino @ana_smash and @cigarrett.fear for putting together such an INCREDIBLE meet and atmosphere. This totally blew me away and I’ll be back next year to see the greatest show in powerlifting! • Thank you to @pwrbldliftingclub for allowing me to represent the brand as an Athlete. I’m thankful to have repped them on the biggest stage• • Finally thank you to all the ppl who wished me good luck, helped out at the meet, and fellow competitors for pushing and supporting me. There’s too many of you to list but you know who you are. 🙏🤝 • I’ll end with saying that going into this meet I was depleted, down, and not motivated in the sport. After this weekend I feel a fire has reignited! Ready to get back to work and accomplish the goals I originally set for myself.

Note to self: don’t have a DEI back spotter. @abbiecooper 594 x2 squat and 650 x 2 deadlift. The post squat shenanigans were just too good not to post. Never a dull moment with this crew. Some training. Doin’ Fine. 650 deadlift in the @pjnewcomb Built Different shirt. Definitely gave me some extra juice for this pull. 315 x 2 Larson press. Lb plates are absolutely lighter than KG plates. 540 pause squat. It was alright to start the deload.
