All the Minds Eyes, 2026
Acrylic Gauche on Canvas, 19” x 25”
The week begins.
The studio continues.
Paint, color, shape, feeling.
A small world made by hand.
This painting is available.
If it speaks to you, I would love for it to live with you.
Over the past few years I’ve been spending more and more time in the small river town of Athens, New York, making work, wandering around, staring at the river, and slowly imagining what the next chapter of my creative life might look like.
Somewhere along the way I realized I wanted a place where exhibitions, experiments, gatherings, and strange ideas could happen freely.
So… I’m opening a gallery.
This spring things will really begin to come alive. There will be shows, events, visiting artists, and a number of playful experiences I’ve been quietly dreaming up.
I’ll be sharing more details soon about the first event, which will kick everything off.
For now I’m just happy to say the doors will be open soon! Something new is growing here.
40 Second Street, Athens, New York
And don’t worry… I’m still very much in Brooklyn too.
I’ll also be announcing a short film screening soon at my studio at 925 Bergen Street.
More soon.
I’m Glad You’re Here
Acrylic gouache on canvas
18 x 24 inches
2025
Painted in Delhi, New York, @sundayfriedman ‘s house. Born in a sketchbook, like so many things of mine. This figure arrived while soft music filled the air, warming me like a friend. Blue holding space. Pink turning into gray. Yellow carrying a quiet smile. The stripes steady at the base. The paint touched and left alive.
It looks not at me, but at the world. It is alive.
This portrait is a mirror. My work is a mirror. In some way, a self-portrait of the moment I am in. When I look at it, I see myself arriving, witnessing, and listening. I hope when you look at it, you see yourself too. A presence. A newness. A simple recognition.
I’m glad I’m here.
I’m glad you’re here.
I’m glad we’re here together.
