Forgot to post these last week, but last Saturday, one of my all time favorite singers, @ladynicolewray came to my home city to grace us with her presence at @rochesterlilacfestival !! This was my third time seeing her live (previously seen her in Seattle and Boise) and she did not disappoint. Unfortunately her full headlining set was cut short due to lightning, but the 45 minutes we got was pure magic. I was in the front row, singing, dancing and enjoying pure bliss. If you ever get the chance to see her live, please do so! She is one of the most underrated talents on the planet. Also listen to her beautiful albums and learn about her incredible ~30 year career in music. From her start in the late 90s with Missy Elliot, to her transformation as the modern queen of soul, she's been making incredible music for such a long time and deserves all the praise and recognition. I am so glad I got the opportunity to see her again, and can't wait to see her more in the future. đđđđ
