Better late than never, our showreel is now live. Big thank you to everyone who has helped make Mighty Creature Co possible over the years. These projects wouldn't exist without you. Here's to many more to come! (Best viewed with sound on)
Halloween is nearly here, and our good buddy Sasquatch would like to kindly ask everyone to not pull on his fur or poke his face asking if it's real, and let him read his book and smoke his pipe in piece. He will not be passing out candy. This message was paid for and shot for @yakimaracks
Earlier this year, Lisa of @steichenstudio came to us saying that she had recently met a man named Bub who she thought would make for a really interesting story. One day, the three of us decided to pop into Bub's shop to meet him and take a look around. Little did we know that Bub was in the process of finishing up his last saddle and closing down his shop for good. So with time running out, we went in the next day and spent time with Bub, hearing stories about his life as a buckaroo, how he made 5 saddles for Charlie Daniels, and his approach to life, hard work and nearly 50 years of saddle making. Thanks Bub Warren and Franklin Saddle Co, we hope you're enjoying retirement out on that cattle ranch you mentioned.
"If I'm honest with myself in what I'm designing, it creates an honest product..." A little insight into the design process of @burnleyknives we shot a few years back. If you don't know Lucas, you need to check him out. There's no better human in the business.
A look into the process behind the saddles made by @bmgeisler We filmed this one during some peak summer heat in Alabama, which meant a lot of early mornings, sweat, water consumption, and afternoon pool sessions. Big thanks to @devise.agency and @crkt_knives for bringing us on for this one, and to @abbyjunes for making sure we all stayed alive.
Last summer we got to go up to the historic Cloud Cap Inn on Mt Hood and spend a day with the legendary Crag Rats who are America's oldest mountain search and rescue organization. Big thanks to @crkt_knives@devise.agency and the Crag Rats for showing us around and being so generous with your time.
