May at Middle Room settles into a rhythm of its own. We open with @senor.in on Club Friday with house, techno, exploratory, and built for the floor. @sameerrahat slows things down just enough, a listening session that leans into mood, memory, and drift. Then come the icons. Queen takes over the room for a night of timeless energy, sing alongs and theatre, followed by @lobocopbombay , digging into deeper, left-field sounds. Nirbhay Nirgun and Avanti Patel bring something, live, intimate, and rooted in storytelling. @aboveandbeyond pull us back into emotion-led electronica. We close the month with A.R. Rahman, a listening session that needs no introduction, just presence with @itssandeepraman & @haima_simoes And in between it all, the constants remain: Rock Wednesdays, BYOV Thursdays, and RnB / Hip Hop Saturdays. Save your dates. Find your nights.✨ Book your spot via the link in our bio.

A room full of people singing every word, guitar solos echoing through the walls, and the kind of energy only Queen can create. From the drama of Bohemian Rhapsody to the joy of Don’t Stop Me Now, every track turned the room into one loud choir for the night. Good music, shared nostalgia, and a reminder that some bands never really leave us. Here’s to Queen ✨ Stay tuned for more

We knew the music would be good. If it’s nice, we play it twice. A packed room, people across generations, every single person singing like the songs belonged to them personally. From the first bassline to the last chorus, nobody really stood still. There’s something beautiful about the way Michael Jackson continues to bring people together, through joy, nostalgia, movement, memory, all of it. The Jackson Hour felt so full of love. We’ll carry this one with us for a long time🪩✨

@aboveandbeyond takes over Middle Room with a night shaped by euphoric melodies and deep progressive grooves, which have defined their music for decades. Consisting of @jonogrant , @tonymcguinness , and @paavoab , the trio has built a global movement around trance and progressive house, creating music that feels intimate. Joining the evening is @anjunafamilyindia , a close-knit community of listeners and longtime fans of Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, known for curating listening sessions, and shared experiences for the Anjuna community across the country. An evening for the dancers, and everyone who’s ever found a home in the music. 📅 24th May, Sunday ⏰ 6 PM Onwards 📍 Middle Room

Nirbhay Nirgun × The Middle Room arrives with music, poetry, and reflection, drawing from Kabir’s fearless philosophy and recontextualising it within today’s social and political realities. Through verse, composition, and conversation, the concert moves through devotion, questioning, and the pursuit of a mind free from fear and judgment. @avantipatelofficial , Hindustani classical vocalist, playback singer, and composer from Mumbai, known for blending tradition with contemporary storytelling through folk fusion, thematic concerts, and explorations of Kabir’s philosophy. @nimishkaikadi , Hindustani classical musician, whose performances move between Raag Sangeet and Natyasangeet while bringing Kabir’s poetry into a deeply personal, contemporary space. 📅23rd May, Saturday ⏰11 AM Onwards 📍Middle Room, Bangalore

Middle Room Selects. Vol. 03 A familiar face behind the conversations and pints with @savvynash A music geek through and through, the kind who always has a recommendation ready. Equally fluent in beers and bands, he moves through genres, sounds, and scenes with the ease of someone who genuinely lives the culture around music. You’ll almost always find him somewhere around the Middle Room, mid-conversation about an album, a live set, or why a certain track deserves a second listen.

@lobocopbombay steps into Middle Room with a set shaped by deep digging, dancefloor intuition, and a lifelong obsession with nightlife culture. The DJ avatar of Kenneth Lobo, LoboCop leans into the funkier side of things, pulling from soul, boogie, disco obscurities, oddball grooves, and leftfield dance records. A longtime cultural producer and selector, he’s spent the last decade playing alongside crews like Wild City, Dynamite Disco Club, Bhavishyavani Future Soundz, and more. LoboCop reshapes drawing dancers into grooves you didn’t know you needed. 📅 May 17th, Sunday ⏰ 9PM Onwards 📍 Middle Room, Bangalore

Pull a pint, Our pint of the week: The Aamras Ale 🥭 Red Rhino’s Aamras Ale brings ripe mango notes into a smooth wheat ale that’s easy, and just sweet enough without going overboard. Mango-forward, crisp, and made for slow summer evenings. Best paired with our Bangalore Grilled Chicken at Middle Room, smoky, spiced, and exactly the kind of bite this beer was made for. Cold pours, good food, no rush.

Twirled slowly, finished right. Our Carbonara keeps things classic at heart, built entirely on texture and balance. Bucatini comes coated in a glossy egg custard, catching every bit of pepper and aged cheese along the way. House-cured bacon brings the depth, smoky, savoury, and crisp at the edges, folding into the sauce with every turn. Come grab a bite, preferably with wine and good company at the Middle ✨

Not subtle, not quiet , and never meant to be. This one’s for Queen. For the drama, the defiance, the larger-than-life sound that turned music into theatre. From the layered brilliance of Bohemian Rhapsody to the raw, unifying pulse of We Will Rock You and the soaring release of Don’t Stop Me Now, this is music that was built to be felt together. Three defining records. One legendary era. Played in full. No half-singing here, this is all in. Voices loud, hands up, hearts wide open. 📅13th May, Wednesday ⏰9 PM Onwards 📍Middle Room, Bangalore Book your slot via the link in our bio.
