Behind the scenes: Bigger Than All Of Us.

Anjunafamily, thank you for an incredible 2024. - During 2024 I spent most of the year in the studio, and also enjoyed touring South America with the Lollapalooza festival amongst the many shows Above & Beyond performed. As well as writing new music, I was pleased that we were able to create a volume of tracks for ABGT600 in Mexico City, which seemed to go down well with the fans. Outside of Above & Beyond, a highlight of 2024 was raising over £10,000 for Mind (a mental health charity) cycling 100 miles, thanks to some very generous support from our wonderful Anjunafamily. I also really enjoyed working on lots of new JODA material with my friend Darren Tate - watch this space! On behalf of all of us at Anjuna HQ, I’d like to wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2025, and I look forward to seeing many of you soon! x Jono What a year 2024 has been; true rollercoaster of emotions, feels and highs. We’ve all put all those experiences into songwriting, seeking inspiration through many things blending life and music in so many ways. My year’s been a combination of living in nature with Johana, and flying to places for shows - for both my P.O.S gigs like at ASOT in Amsterdam and Anjunadeep Explorations in Albania and also for the truly epic and exciting Above & Beyond shows that have felt ever more exciting with all the new A&B material we’ve been testing out. We all start 2025 excited for what’s ahead; an anniversary year with lots of things to look forward to.... but more about those next year... Paavo 2024 has had a very musical tone. This year saw the welcome release of my solo album, Salt, after a 25 year gestation period. It’s been such a thrill to promote these songs which of course have an enormous resonance for me. The feedback has been amazing. Above and Beyond has been busy writing and recording new music, in many ways this has been our most productive year ever with a slew of new instrumentals and full songs appearing at ABGT600 in Mexico and many more yet to come. 2025, our 25th year as a band and a label, is sure to be one for the books. This week I finally closed off my fundraising page for #RideLondon100. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, together we smashed the target, raising a total of over £10k on Just Giving alone, let alone the other platforms. The lovely folk at Mind were in touch shortly after to say thanks as well, which I’m passing on by way of this message…. The money will be going to a great cause helping people in need. Many of us have had struggles with mental health, big or small, so it’s fortunate that in today’s world there are now more resources and awareness than there used to be. Thank you again for your support, and I’m looking forward to dancing with you at #ABGT600 in Mexico. The rest of the photos in this post are from my trip to the alps this summer which was a welcome break from making music in the studio for #ABGT600…. I’m normally more of a lover of “winter in the mountains”, but the trip may have started to convert me… Thanks, Jono x

For years now we’ve been trying to arrange with @alyandfila to play at The Pyramids in Egypt, but timings never quite worked out. This year, we were finally able to rectify that and make a dream of ours come true. Thanks to all of you who joined us, and to @alyandfila for organising and being wonderful hosts too. Hopefully it won’t be the last time!

Thank you London for making the closing of #Printworks so special this month. Made me feel proud of our wonderful city, but equally sad to see such a great much loved venue close its doors.
