Presenting Matt Cowell 💫
Now operating across London’s club and DIY landscape, Matt works with a range of parties, labels and platforms including Viscera, Ransom Note and Not An Animal. He co-runs label Viscera Transmissions alongside Ben Carrington, releasing music from artists such as Manami, Komodo and shjva.
As part of the Ransom Note team, Matt plays a central role in curating their residency at The Social, booking artists including Optimo, Pleasure Pool, Baba Ali and Wolf Müller. He also hosts Pass The Time on Aaja Radio and co-hosts Too Hot To Sleep with Reefe Murphy on Radio Vilnius.
With a versatile musical approach, Matt is committed to creating dynamic and engaging experiences on the dancefloor. Last summer we were lucky enough to catch him play two b2b2b sets at Watching Trees with Tia Cousins, Rosie Ama and Sarahtonin — both were highlights of the festival for us.
He will be taking our main stage for a spin Saturday night, expect a deep journey of twists and turns around the fringes of house and techno ✨️

We were blown away by the submissions — thank you to all the incredible entries! After a lengthy debate, Charles came out on top. His eclectic blend of disco, house and euphoric upbeat groovers caught our attention and we are buzzing to have him along.
Charles is an energetic DJ, producer, broadcaster and writer, spanning Loft-inspired disco, soulful house, nu-wave jazz and DFA-inspired bass bin goodness. A truly versatile selector with a passion for eclecticism, he’s a master of grooves who broadcasts new and familiar sounds to the dancefloor with infectious energy.
Charles has made a name for himself in London, appearing alongside Esa, Craig Charles and Dr Packer. His reach extends beyond the capital, having led a headline UK tour with Tina Edwards and earned mix features from Le Visiteur, My Analog Journal and more.

Presenting Digger’s Paradise ☀️
Created by a trio of record collectors, Digger’s Paradise was born in a steamy Cardiff basement with a DIY setup of just two turntables, a mixer and a soundsystem. The vision was clear: a vinyl-only party in intimate spaces, driven by a back-to-basics, ‘90s-inspired aesthetic. Dedicated to showcasing forgotten B-sides, unknown gems and overlooked favourites, Digger’s Paradise has grown into a marked success, delivering sold-out shows, booking revered DJs, and building a loyal, passionate fanbase along the way.
The boys will be taking the reins on Saturday for a 3 hour session and we are rather excited to see what they pull out their record bags ✨️

We are running a mix competition to find an upcoming DJ to play a set at Middle Of Somewhere 2026 🛖 See details below:
Conditions
• Mix must be between 1 - 2 hours.
• The festival is predominantly house, techno and disco oriented but we'll consider other stuff
• Mix must be uploaded to Soundcloud or Mixcloud
• A link to the mix must be sent to our instagram page in a direct message with your name and DJ name.
• The set will be on Friday 31st July, the time is to be decided.
• Deadline for submissions: April 12th
