Dear Friends, for the festive holidays I thought it would have been cool to have free bandcamp download codes ready for my entire discography for everyone, so I'm happy to tell you that there are a lot of them available on @band.codes , the great platform created by the amazing @project_vill4in (link in bio) 🎧🎶 Also, for those who want to support my music with a donation, all my discography is now available in one click on my bandcamp page with the option "Buy Digital Discography" (and you can even send it as a gift ) 💿🎁 Finally, I created a ko-fi page in case someone wants to offer me a coffee and support my projects there (link in bio too) ☕🍩 For all my US fans and supporters: I think I miraculously found a way to send all the unshipped tapes and surpass the difficulties created by the whole tariffs/blocks situation, thanks to some friends in labels and distros. MM019 "Underwater Quest" is out now on @bandcamp Link in bio 🤿 "Underwater Quest" is the second entry in the "PSX Breaks" series, an ongoing group of records that I'm working on. The series is inspired by the sound of 90s/Y2K atmospheric drum and bass, ambient jungle, early liquid dnb, Playstation 1-2 music, and fictional video game soundtracks. I like to imagine this album as the OST of a 3D, low poly, third-person PS1 game in which you have been assigned to a repair mission at the bottom of the ocean. In this game you would have to pilot your mecha through a sequence of underwater levels, submerged scenarios and aquatic phenomena. Inside the mecha, you would swim, dive, explore and be captured by the natural wonders of the deep sea, as well as by its dangers and perils. Living beings and their habitats will be your friends there, but a leak in a secret pipeline has produced some kind of toxic pollution in the near-by area, altering the structure of the environment and genetically modifing some aggressive predators of the depths. Following some unrestrained subaqueous explosions, it may also happen to bump into electrocuted maintenance and defense submarine robots, originally designed by the government itself to protect their classified operation, that are going crazy and decided that you are an enemy and an intruder. The production of the album is mainly centered around textures, one-shots and breaks coming from 90s sample CDs, together with selected samples, chops, melodic flips and aethereal manipulations of PSX soundtracks. Best enjoyed swimming, diving or near some clean natural body of water in general, but also just having a bath or taking a shower. MM018 "Virtual Frontiers" is out now on @bandcamp Link in bio 🌐 This album is the first entry in a new series of records that I like to call "PSX Breaks", inspired by the sound of early Playstation drum and bass/jungle music, and by 90s/2000s dnb and videogame soundtracks in general. Inside of it, you can find 10 tracks of atmospheric and liquid breaks, as well as a couple of techstep influenced tunes. You are free to imagine them as the background music of a non-existent videogame, recalling the experiments made through the years by great artists like @r23xmusic , @mitch.murder and @slowerpacemusic (here's a list of albums with similar concepts: rateyourmusic.com/list/muninn294/fictional-video-game-soundtracks/ ). I like to think about "Virtual Frontiers" as a multi-genre game, that starts inside a computer machine and develops itself through microchips, circuits, cables and networks of data streams. In the form of a virtual micro-mecha, your mission is to protect your system from cyber attacks, and to hack your way through the digital enemy lines. The production process revolves around one shots and breaks taken from 90s sample CDs, together with samples from obscure PS1 OSTs. Best enjoyed gaming, coding or spending time doing your favorite nerd/geek activity. I really hope you can like this and appreciate the whole series.
