The algorithm has recently been feeding me Tokusatsu characters (ie - Kamen Rider) and it inspired me to design my own characters. I love the outrageous designs and aesthetics that are unapologetically unique to this type of media. There’s a retro vibe that’s also super imaginative and futuristic about it all. 🤖

Here I have two of my reoccurring characters transformed into a pseudo Kamen Rider and a Daikaiju locked in an epic battle. The Kamen Rider is my cicada character, “Brood X”, and the Daikaiju is my catfish character, “Driftwood”. Both of these are from the alternative flyer artwork I did for Midwest Friends Fest 2 last year! Check it out 🤠

A quarterly reminder that your AI art content looks real bad. You look like a doofus. If you use AI art for your community music and art events, it’s super obvious to fellow artists. Well folks! Here we are. My first mural in the books! I knew it was going to be tough but this was more challenging than I could have ever imagined 😛 Nonetheless, I loved diving into this project. It taught me so much more than if I had just kept a fun drawing on my iPad. Thanks to @arcadelegacyohio and the Queen City Seawitches for trusting me with this!
