A very vinous week with @bonhamswineandspirits live auction of The Legendary Cellar of Hostellerie Jerome as the centrepiece. Three locations, three live auctions, three sets of white gloves. Massive effort from the whole team front and back to put on such a great show and fun evening @bonhams1793 HQ.

Even got a chance to taste one of the 2015 maiden vintage bottles of #garnachanotguerra … time is a wonderful thing and was pretty chuffed tasting it … the flaws of youth seem a bit more characterful with age… wish I could say the same of myself!

Last bottle of this… beautifully lifted and floral for the first couple of hours open then took a more ferrous, earthy turn… all the while with a concentrated, ripe core of red fruit that lined up 👌 with the boss’ duck with pomegranate and walnut sauce @rosieejclarkson
