Still blown away that this happened!
I was honored to give a TED talk about what happens when becoming a filmmaker is easier than ever thanks to AI. Will this mean wild new narrative forms, new aesthetics and stories from people who never had the tools to tell them before, or will we just drown in an ocean of meaningless AI slop? In my talk I share why I’m genuinely optimistic and what will really count in the future.

During my last quarter at SCAD, I had the honor of leading an amazing team of artists in the creation of a 1:30 minute animated short. We only had 9 weeks to complete the entire project while having other classes at the same time, which was quite a challenge!
In the end we made it work and I think the end product turned out amazing! Thank y’all for the great work: Akshara Mallan, Chuxiao He ( Luca), Hongyu Shi (Jay), Lohit Chintala, Shuhang Luan, Yingyan Lin ( Silvia ), Yixuan Ding ( Jasmine ), Yuqing Tang
