Caminho Português | Lisbon to Santiago 🇵🇹
After 72 hours I was physically and mentally exhausted, had a cry, never thought I was going to do 640km to Santiago but that feeling soon passed.

I’ve set aside my pint of beer and Marlborough Gold, laced up my Hoka’s and took to the road.
100 days ago I gave up cigarettes and my beloved vape, hadn’t ran any distance beyond 5km but became increasingly curious about running faster and further, and the mental and physical challenges that came with it.
So much so, that I decided to run the Galway Bay Marathon on October 5th 2024 in aid of Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) ⬇️

The marathon is on the 5th Oct 24, almost twelve months since the Israeli military launched an extensive aerial bombardment across Gaza, hitting homes, hospitals, clinics, schools and essential infrastructure. This has resulted in mass casualties and destruction of civilian infrastructure.
If you can spare a couple of quid, it would make a huge difference, not only in giving me a boot up the arse to go a little quicker but providing the vital medical supplies, emergency food and humanitarian aid needed to save lives.
Hoping to raise funds as high as me in the second pic, third pic would be dream come true👆
