Papped at @dunjaopalko Creative Mothers exhibition.
I first met Dunja 12 years ago when she was a graphic designer at a creative agency, and I was the ready-to-learn intern. She took me under her wing, and was (and still is) an incredible designer.
Photography was her passion but going freelance is a scary leap. She once snapped me on a lunch break (last slide), and to this day she remains the only photographer who’s had the questionable honour of shooting me (slide before).
It was genuinely moving to see such a packed room celebrating her Creative Mothers project - reminded me that backing yourself and putting in the work can pay off. Of course it helps if you’re very talented like Dunja too. Go follow her work, pls and thank you. Oh and Dunja- thanks for the beer!
i’ll not get annoyed at an awful lot in this game but do not take away from me the fact that I caught one because that’s one of my proudest achievements I’ve got in here
