A long time goal has been to establish a jiu jitsu curriculum in schools. Thanks to @mark_cerrone and @renzograciebjj this has become a reality and I am super fortunate to be a small part of this new non profit @lionsyouthfoundation as we recently introduced a jiu jitsu program at a school in Connecticut. The goal is to establish similar programs all over the United States. I honestly believe it could change the world. Please give us a follow. We are just learning and itâs all new but one downâŠâŠ hopefully 1000s more to go
Starting a 501(c)(3) and concurrently working on projects in 3 countries wasnât on our 2025 bingo card but here we are.
Happy to report that in our first 3 months, we:
1. Distributed over 100 gis to needy kids/teens/adults
2. Taught several seminar/workshops for awareness
3. Planned a mission trip to help kids in Southern Leyte
4. Worked to bring jiujitsu programs to orphanages
5. Started the process of trying to get jiujitsu into schools
Canât wait to see what more we can do and drive these projects through to completion! đ±
