Wrapping up an unforgettable Sundance with La Tierra del Valor. I had an absolute blast being in the theater and experiencing the audience reactions firsthand — the exact people we work for when we tell these stories. Between the screenings, meeting filmmakers, and watching so much incredible work, I’m leaving this festival feeling full of inspiration and gratitude. Couldn’t be happier to share that the short documentary La Tierra del Valor (The Home of the Brave), which I helped edit, has been selected for #SundanceFilmFestival2026 Directed by the incredible @xtinatini , the film is about preserving our own voice in times of oppression—and using art to reflect who we are. It’s a reminder that small acts of bravery can go a long way in hard times. This moment!!!

Yesterday felt like a dream!! Standing there as a three-time Primetime Emmy Award–winning editor is something I could never have imagined when I started this journey. The truth is, it’s not always easy. There are moments of doubt, walls we hit, challenges that feel impossible to push through. But what I’ve learned is this: if you stay in the game, keep pushing, keep focusing on the craft, and keep pouring love into the art and the stories, it pays off. One day, it all comes back to you. This Emmy is more than a trophy; it’s a reminder that persistence, passion, and faith in the work will always find their way to the light. To my wife Yara, thank you for standing by me through every high and low, every long night, every sacrifice. None of this would mean anything without you by my side. Here’s to the craft, to the stories, to the love of the work and to Wrexham. Up the Town!
