Tokyo day 5. Well, day trip to Kamakura. If you ever vacation with me, please know I will make you walk more than you ever wanted to 😂 the family also did not want to see the last few temples. Kamakura is a sweet vacation town by the sea with more historical sights than you can shake a stick at and was chock full of school kiddies on excursions. Plus I had one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Do you also have a list of top breakfasts? If you don’t, you should have better breakfasts!
Tokyo day 4. I’m really obsessed with the old man coffee shops, though the fact you can smoke in them both adds atmosphere and hurries me out again. We went to the baseball, sadly the Yakult Swallows got walloped by the Hanshin Tigers. But it was fun to chant Go!Go!Swallows! While gals with kegs strapped to their backs served beers.
Hello from Tokyo! Arrival day- deliriously tired from not sleeping on the plane- whoops! Wandered past Tokyo tower and stayed locally in Shimbashi. Had a lovely kakiage don for dinner and some drinks out and about and finished at a darts bar where Kel and Mike were playing doubles with the locals who were gearing up for their competition today. I’m so so soooooo happy to be on holiday and all together with @michaelseancirelli@kellyitsme and @janridley57
It’s so freaking cold in Baltimore I haven’t been more than 2 blocks from the theatre this whole week. I’m sure it’s very nice in the spring. Anyway here’s the view from the theatre.
