I am excited to share this coverage of “A Curated Table at Maroma” featured in @surfacemag . Dinner parties are trending globally & we are thrilled to be in the fray with @belmondmaroma for the kick-off! Dinner parties are my love language & I draw my inspiration from around the world. It’s thrilling to partner with @belmond to slow things down for just a few days to foster more meaningful connections. I can’t wait to share where this journey will take us!

To say it is a bit surreal to be featured in Forbes would be an understatement. Forbes has long been a place for me to go to shape my point of view and find inspiration. Entrepreneurship can be a very solitary journey & am thrilled to be a part of this community to build new relationships, make new friends and as always, to be inspired! Link 🔗 in BIO

A CURATED TABLE with MICHELLE RAGO & BELMOND For night 2 Chef Matteo curated a fabulous seaside dinner to close out A Curated Table! We dined on Caviar topped Johnny Cakes, Cured Wahoo with Anguilla salt & Island Harbour Crayfish with Creamy Coconut Rice. The icing on the cake was an actual cake with sparklers to close the birthday celebration (TY Megan!). My favorite moment was watching my dear friend Verna, whom I’ve known for 30 years, perched on the top step nearby dinner with an eagle eye for hours making sure everything was perfect & of course that the Belmond magic was in technicolor! The very heart of the concept is about connection & collaboration. As I had dreamed, the ideas flowed as easily as the Ruinart!

Michelle Rago Destinations & Belmond have hit the road! I am thrilled to announce the launch of A Curated Table, a cultural dining & hospitality series that will take place at select properties globally. I have carefully curated a list of legacy clients, key opinion leaders & industry titans to gather around the table & experience the magic that is @belmond . A HUGE thank you to the team at @belmondcapjuluca for pulling out all the stops. I have been coming to this property for 30 years & the addition of the Guerlain Spa & Chef Matteo Bartaletti takes this property to another stratisfere! I hope you’ll join me on my journey. Next up Chef Armando Aristarco will travel from Hotel Caruso in Ravello, Italy to cook an extraordinary meal at my table at Chez Rago! And another huge thank you to my dear friend @rishithedesigner for designing a gorgeous table last evening.

I grew up sailing at the Jersey Shore & had my first boat at the age of five. She was called the Sea-Shelly & her sail number was “L-72”. I learned so much from sailing. If I were to tell my younger self a thing or two it would be …. ⚓️You cannot control the wind, but you can adjust your sails ⚓️Embrace the necessity of continuous maintenance & repairs in life-but do it with style! ⚓️Master the art of navigation by ALWAYS tacking ⚓️if you’re in a Dead-calm…sing at the top of your god damed lungs until help arrives ⚓️And oh…cursing always makes you feel better This photo represents a long passage from my pram to this yacht. The term Hard-a-Lee is an indicator to the crew there is a change in direction. It is typically preceded by the term Ready About. So here we go team. Ready About. Hard-a-Lee. This is 62. Rock the boat baby ….

Florence’s legendary Villa San Michele recently reopened. The stage was set to welcome a new chapter after a careful renovation. Sunlit tables & Tuscan flavours delighted as day turned to night…easing into the rhythm of what was to come. We truly celebrated ‘La Dolce Villa’ style.

If you want to suspend reality & just lose yourself … board the @fourseasonsyachts . We embarked in Athens for a 3 day journey. The “Sail Away” is the new Flex. Trust me … just leave it all on the shoreline. We spent a dreamy day on the isle of Spetsis (one of my personal faves) to shop & have an unbelievable lunch at the hotel Poseidon. We took a catamaran to Santorini for a lovely dinner. The yacht is beautifully appointed. I’m insane for the buttery yellow embroidered chairs at the check-in lobby, the double daybeds surrounding the pool & the more intimate pool-deck on the 11th floor. There was always music to find & lots of late night nooks for “just one more” …

THE DOLCE VILLA 🍋 I adore being “wowed” … and I am officially beyond wowed. I’ve just experienced an exclusive sneak peak for a dreamy few days before the global reopening of the storied Villa San Michele. Belmond excels at experices and I am so thrilled & honored to have been woven into the fabric of their story. No detail was spared. I have added that hotel to my dreamscape.

We never try to compete with a spectacular view, especially one as breathtaking as La Fortaleza. Perched above the Bay of Pollensa, the property was built in 1628 as a defense against pirates, its history woven into every stone. 🏴‍☠️ With a rich history and architecture this grand, we designed to let the existing beauty shine. Enter 14-foot towering topiaries that created a sense of presence without overwhelming it. The pool, covered but visually intact, was left exposed at the edges so it felt untouched, almost as if the design floated gently on top. 🌼 Slim troughs of water ran between guest seating, quietly reinforcing that illusion. The bride gravitated toward soft flourishes and intricate patterns, which we brought to life across the water’s surface using white hydrangea. 🌊Each element was carefully constructed and suspended on top of the water, allowing the pattern to stretch the full length of the pool. Every decision came back to restraint. No covered arches, no competing installations, just thoughtful additions that lived in harmony with the setting. Proof that sometimes, the most impactful approach is knowing when to do less.
