We are very proud to kick off our creative universe with the publication “MOTHERLAND”, co-published together with the amazing people from @wemakeitberlin who also printed the book here in Berlin.
“MOTHERLAND” is the first publication by photographer Michael José, about his journey back home to Colombia in 2024 in search of himself, his culture and his mother. It’s a personal and intimate story following his travels through his eyes, lens and with outtakes from his diary notes.

Seeing @badbreeding play this Sunday in Berlin had me remember the first time I saw them at the Brooklyn Bazaar in November 2019.
I was touring with @halshug , documenting what would end up being the last tour, the end of more than 6 years of playing together - but the beginning of even stronger friendships than playing together maybe had allowed. 6 years later I still think back on the time I got to spend on the road in company with some of my best friends.
Together with the other bands playing that night in New York, they put Halshug on the bill to help out after a series of canceled shows, showing me (a novice in the scene) the best side of this community.
Something I’ve only come to experience more of after moving to Berlin, seeing the relentless work many of my friends do here, putting on shows, hosting bands and showing solidarity for the right causes.
Here’s some clips from my film “Lost In A Dream”. Link in bio for the full length.
Who wants me in the van next? 👹

We caught the attention of some local boys, shortly after arriving to town and they ended up following us around the souk, helping with our groceries and maybe waiting for me to ask them for a photo.
