Når de danske black metal-yndlinge fra ORM rammer Pumpehuset på fredag, er @tuborgdenmark med til at fuldende aftenen på en særdeles grov måde. De har nemlig sørget for at vi kan mæske os i ORM-bryg til efterfesten, mens Halshug serverer nådesløs afgrundsdyb hardcore. Inden ORM kommer Glemsel til at stå for opvarmning! Der er stadig få billetter tilbage til denne store metalfredag, som du kan fange via linket i bio eller på Billetto!
Michael José or “Joe” as we like to call him, was with us for the entire process of promoting “Drøm”. A process that involved touring Europe and America and which eventually lead to us putting the band to rest for 4 years. Joe and his camera was with us during many ups and even more downs, and was a calming and supportive element on the road. He became the 4th member of Halshug.
He is currently displaying that time with us at the +ONE AT THE BORDER exhibition in Berlin. The exhibition is running from today and a week forward at Kühnemannstraße 21-45.

Happy Birthday, Pink Guitar!
For a very special event at Hotel Cecil, several of the most exciting musicians from the Danish underground and beyond will gather to congratulate the pink guitar and its owner. This exclusive concert takes place on August 18, celebrating Peter Peter’s 50th anniversary in Danish music by interpreting some of his many songs.
On stage, you will experience performances by Iceage, Halshug, Slim0, Majke Voss, and, of course, Peter Peter himself. He will also play the pink guitar as the leader of a special Bleeder X.
This concert is a one-time event and will not be repeated.

This picture was taken where we left off, in New York four years ago. Back then, we decided to hit the brakes while it still felt right. – Now, Halshug is back together for a small series of shows.
We had a growing feeling of our music losing relevance. Times were about to change and other noises than ours needed to be heard. Who really needed four dudes playing angry music that people’s parents invented? Since then, A LOT has happened. And demand for our shows has grown a lot too. Perhaps there is after all a need for music that can harness some despair?
You be the judge of that – we are humble and happy to once again let it all out.

Vi havde en knugende følelse dengang af, at vores musik ikke rigtig var relevant. Ting var ved at forandre sig, og hvem havde egentlig brug for at høre tre mænd stå og råbe? Det var andres tur til at stå på scenen. Siden dengang er der sket en hel del. Og af en eller anden grund er efterspørgslen på vores musik steget i takt. Måske er der igen brug for vred musik?

We’re back from our US tour and what a tour it was! A special thanks to @____the_bicth_ for being the best tour mom ever, sorting shit out and driving us around like a real boss. @bullshiteveryone for hooking us up with van and gear and setting up what might be the best show ever at 538. @michaeljose for once again joining us and helping out with EVERYTHING! @gregben for booking this tour - we couldnt have done it ourselves!
