I want to know who is signing off on E&O for The Asylum. This is hilariously amazing.

There's a good deal on AMC+ right now, so I joined. I immediately DID NOT regret it after seeing the "you may like" recommendations under Nekromantik 2. Big crossover fanbase! Sadly, the recommendations did not go the other way as well!

Mother's Day at Brain Dead Studios!!! Screening of Fuck My Son! with special Mother’s Day Q+A Synopsis: An X-Rated descent into demented comedy and maniacal horror, as a desperate mother drags an innocent stranger into an absurd, filthy nightmare beyond comprehension. An unflinchingly loyal adaptation of transgressive artist Johnny Ryan’s joyfully disgusting comic book. Current Q&A confirmed: Todd Rohal (Writer/Director) Johnny Ryan (Comic Book Writer) Tipper Newton (Actress) Robert Longstreet (Actor) Steve Little (Actor) Johnny Ryan’s Biological Mother Tipper Newton’s Biological Mother Dildo Heaven Hollywood Entertainment is proud to present the LA premiere of Doris Wishman’s final movie: Dildo Heaven, unreleased and unseen since its festival debut in 2002. This special Mother’s Day tribute will feature a conversation with filmmakers and former Wishman crew members Rodney Ascher and Syd Garon and Elizabeth Pauker, director of the forthcoming documentary AKA Doris Wishman. The feature will be preceded by Ascher’s 2020 short film Doris Wishman Directs A Music Video. Octogenarian filmmaker and “Queen of Sexploitation” Doris Wishman was working at a sex shop in Miami in the early 90s when she met experimental musician Tom Smith (To Live and Shave in L.A.), spurring a full-blown career revival that saw her honored at film festivals around the world and featured on HBO’s Real Sex and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Intended to be her comeback movie, Dildo Heaven premiered at the New York Underground Film Festival just months before her passing in 2002 and then was never officially widely released until now. A charming shot-on-video sex comedy that defies all description–and surely the only movie by a senior citizen to feature an original rap theme song–Dildo Heaven (also known as Desperate Desires) is a fitting swan song for one of the most beloved cult filmmakers of all time.

I have it on good authority that Fat Fleshy Fingers is coming to streaming soon!!! Sophia directed and I helped produce, write, edit, act, etc. in the first segment, "King of Carrot Flowers," which is a pretty wild story of a grandfather regaling the tale of a mummy and a parasitic worm to his dying grandchild. (Plus a wonderful cast, all around!!! I'll talk more about that as the movie comes out.) Film and segment titles inspired by Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea (probably my favorite album ever). I also used to play in Neutral Uke Hotel, for which we toured the country playing the album live on ukuleles. So, full circle...or something. CW: Drugs, Nudity, Language, Sex, Violence (just language in our segment really!)

Our old, broken Frigidaire refrigerator that we can't disconnect from the water because the shutoff needs to be replaced has an ominous view of our new refrigerator creeping up on it. This is like Starbucks in NYC where you can always see another Starbucks across the street.
