It’s here! Today has been a long time in the making and I am so happy to finally share These Are The Days.
Deepest of gratitude to everyone who made this possible. All of the incredible musicians, artists, engineers, behind the scenes management, printers, promoters, photographers, creatives. There are so many people that IG won’t even let me tag them all! Credits are on the picture but I’ll definitely be highlighting the people who made this possible in the coming weeks and months.
Today is the first day in so many ways but so much has been happening to get here.
To all my co-writers on this album: you helped me remember who I am. The most gratitude and love for each of you.

Produced by Aaron Shafer-Haiss and made with a list of some of the best musicians, engineers and people I could dream of working with, in our own studio Vacationland.

This album is for anyone who has ever had their life completely turned on its head. Who has grappled with the winding path of hardships, challenge, surprise, heartache, immense joy, love, disappointment and grief. Who has faced their own shadow, their demons, learned what they’re capable of (the good and the bad).
It’s for mothers and fathers and caretakers of any kind. For anyone who has come to terms with shifting dreams, letting go and finding the beauty, the gold, the mystery and magic in the mundanity of daily work and life. Who has discovered that the humdrum is holy.
It’s for anyone who has learned about forgiveness, for themselves and others. Who honors and revels in the changing body, the hard work of growing up, and holding the truth that there is no love without grief, no joy without sorrow.

I’m releasing a new album…but I need your help. For the first time in ten years, I’m choosing to own my own music.

I spent a decade on the industry merry-go-round: touring, signed to a record deal, made four albums…none of which I actually owned. And then, in 2021 everything stopped.
Shortly before becoming a mother, my mom had a stroke. My hands were full of the hands of those who needed me and for two years, I didn’t pick up my guitar.
In that quiet, everyday labor of love, I found something sacred: ✨holiness in the humdrum.✨
That’s where this record was born: the imperfections, the messy truths of love and family and being a Mom, a survivor, a woman in the music industry, the coping with the blessing of growing older, and the pain and the beauty of letting go of what no longer serves you.
This album is the realest thing I’ve ever made and this Kickstarter is RECLAIMING MY INDEPENDENCE.
No label.
No strings.
Just community, creative freedom, and a record made on our terms.

We recorded These Are The Days in January 2024. These photos only show a fraction of the talented beautiful people and days spent crafting this record. It’s been a journey to get to release day tomorrow, which is just the beginning in so many ways.

I would say I’ve never been more excited about sharing an album but that’s not accurate - I’ve never been more at peace sharing an album.
This album is about the messy, the mundane, the painful, the self-examining, the love, the heavy-lifting, the grief of aging, the forgiveness, the exposing, surrendering parts of life….
My only hope is that these songs find the people who need them.
