Ace, a lifelong Doctor Who fan, has always led a rather sheltered life but tonight, everything changes. Her school crush, Sasha, has invited her out to a nightclub.
Sadly, Ace has never been clubbing before, so she arrives 15 minutes before the club. On time is late, after all. As the club slowly fills with people, Ace has to wait in this hostile new environment for Sasha to arrive. All the while she tries to determine whether her feelings for Sasha are romantic or platonic and discovers how prominent the focus on sex in society really is.
Is it love? Is it friendship? What’s the difference?
‘That’s Ace’ explores asexuality, attraction and the feeling of living outside of societal norms.

What do you do when your world is spiralling out of control?
Berlin, 1933. In a modest apartment, the laughter and political discussions of a group of friends mingle as the shadow of tyranny creeps closer. Years later, the questions still burn, when the world changes towards prejudice and injustice, do we resist, comply, or look away?
From the mind of Tony Kushner (Angels In America), A Bright Room Called Day is a portrait of friendship, fear, and the peril of doing nothing in the face of oppression.
Spanning nearly 100 years, it asks how ordinary people respond when faced with impossible decisions, and shines a light on how our choices echo across decades.

New life to a boring but super comfy chair
I used @fabricoatofficial paint for the main fabric body, gave the wood work a fresh coat, picked this fun fabric from @bm_fabrics and had a little help with the covers. Go team 🧵
The chair is a rescue and is ready to be loved and enjoyed for another 20 years 💚

It's the final day of @thebigplasticcount
We've been counting rubbish for a week and it's mad how much stuff is wrapped in plastic! It's time for change and that's why this project is so important.
I took it a step further and made something useful out of some of my rubbish. I collected crips bags for a while and have made a tent for my cats ⛺😻 Bobby would prefer to be left alone in there but it keeps him dry in the rain.

This one is made from an old shower curtain, a shower mat and a bit of cushioning for comfort. No excuse not the get cracking on gardening 🌱🌞

Using an old pill packet I've made eyes that's now being used in mindful craft activities with kids in schools.
