For tonight’s @moderadio.london I’m joined by my musical clone: the butcher bird, for a very exciting B2B showcasing all the weird and wonderful corners of bass, dubstep and electro.

The inaugural mix of the Double Yolk series is of course the b2b that gave me a taste for b2bs: when @mfceol and I went to @mssnldn last year and played some dubstep and other bits. A dream pairing, as our collections went so well together and the whole thing felt smooth and symbiotic.
We’ve since done a b2b in the club at MF Ceól’s party @start_parties and it was just as dreamy, especially playing more high-octane tunes under a bit of pressure. Sadly that set wasn’t recorded, but swipe for a foggy photo that’s proof it happened, and for some snippets of this mix.
Resident Spotlight: MF Ceol & Vish
@start_parties residents MF Ceol and Vish are a dynamic pair, covering a range of genres between them: house, hardgroove, techno, dubstep, garage and jungle to name a few. After a groovy 1.5 hour set for @jazztojungle , they’re gearing up for a 160bpm opener at The Greyhound.

I went Mode on Tuesday to record this 160-170 bpm set. Its been a while since I played something at this tempo but I had lots of fun with it - come see me close at @start_parties on 14th November for some more 💥
I was joined this time by my friend @dan.big.toe , who went absolutely mental for the second hour with some jungle and dnb.
