We beg your acceptance of this elegant acorn, 31.5 x 39 inches, oil on canvas In Alice in Wonderland, after the caucus race, everyone was given a prize. Here, I have changed Alice’s thimble, given to her by the Dodo, to an acorn as a symbol of renewed life, possibility, and hope for all the creatures surrounding her. It is the symbol used to mark the national trail system in England, sending you on fabulous walks through beautiful countryside. The Dodo, which was extinct when Lewis Carroll wrote the book, is black and white while everyone else is glass, to express their vulnerability and fragility. #extinctionrebellion #endangeredspecies #contemporaryartwork #glassart #painting @meyer_gallery

Detail, the conversation. The Highland Tiger or Scottish Wildcat is my Cheshire in the Alice series. It is the only wild cat remaining on the British Isles, with efforts being made to increase their numbers, which were around 200. Please join me in supporting @saveourwildcats and check out the fab work being done at @rewildingeurope . We can turn the tide. #rewildingeurope #scottishwildcat #contemporaryart #painting #glassart @meyer_gallery

"Tone" A curated collection of paintings shaped by value, light, and the character of paint. Our newest digital catalog is now live on the Meyer Gallery website. This selection brings together gallery artists whose work shows how tone can guide a painting, not only through light and dark, but through mood, surface, and the way paint itself carries feeling. View the catalog in the "News" section of our website. Link in the bio. #meyergallerysantafe #contemporaryart #canyonroad #tone

Meyer Gallery presents COLOR, a curated collection of paintings built from the language of color. This new digital catalog brings together artists who use color as a primary force in their work, whether through atmosphere, contrast, structure, or mood. Across landscape, still life, figuration, abstraction, and beyond, color becomes the element that sets the emotional tone and gives each painting its particular life. The catalog is now live in the News section of the Meyer Gallery website. Interactive links attached to each artist’s name connect directly to their page on our site, making it easy to continue exploring the work. meyergalleries.com/post/17695-color For inquiries contact the Gallery representative at 505-983-1434 or email us at [email protected] #color #meyergallerysantafe #santafeart #contemporaryart #canyonroad
