Begin mei opent onze gezamenlijke expositie “PUYNZOOI” in @metro__c !
Wat valt er te vinden? Smurrie misschien? Gras vanuit hoeken en kieren, een vrouw met een verdacht hoge puntmuts, het Groningse debuut van Broeder Roeland, en dan hebben we het nog niet eens gehad over de bom aan de muur.
Alle gekheid op een stokje dus, papier-maché in overvloed. We hopen dat je langskomt om alles eens goed te bekijken!
De opening is op vrijdag 8 mei vanaf 19:00 met een praatje om 19:30.
De expositie is elke dag open tot 17 mei van 12:00-17:00.

In the beginning of May we are opening our collaborative exhibition “PUYNZOOI” in @metro__c !
What can you expect? Will it be gunky? Grass popping up from every nook and cranny? A woman wearing a suspiciously long pointy hat? Are you gonna be able to see Broeder Roeland for the first time in Groningen? and what about the bomb on the wall?
All kookiness combined, the amount of papier-mâché will not disappoint you. We are hoping to see you come by to give everything a good look!
The opening will be on Friday the 8th of May at 19:00, and we’ll have a short speech at 19:30!
The exhibition is open everyday until the 17th of May from 12:00-17:00.

Hi everyone, for some of our events, we could really use your help. This might be behind the bar, selling tickets at the door, or assisting with light and sound. It’s also a great opportunity to practice and develop your creative skills!

Je studie afronden aan Academie Minerva... en dan?!
We vroegen het aan het onlangs opgerichte kunstenaarscollectief @metro__c bestaande uit alumni van de academie. Na hun opleiding verenigden ze zich in de binnenstad van Groningen met een werkplaats en atelier. Tijdens een rondleiding door het pand vertellen vier van de elf oud-studenten wat deze plek voor hen betekent.

Our new Metro sCooter!! We like to go all over town, collecting stuff from marktplaats, shops or the local metal dump. For this practice we need some sort of transportation. That is why we have our own scooter!

On the 13.03 we have an opening for the exhibition ‘Wunder Punkt’ featuring Lenka Roosendaal & Simon Scharinger.
Their work asks questions about how perception is mediated by power, how systems define visibility and vulnerability, and how painting can reclaim a space for embodied presence within structures that seek to contain it.
The opening starts at 17:00. In case you are not able to attend, the exhibition is up until 27.03.
