@methodsbreakin uses a variety of methods to teach the urban dance form “Breakin” including drilling movement, talking about history and cultural context, encouraging freestyle and self expression, and working individually to create your own combinations, such as here: the combination is drop, freeze, spin up.
These combinations allow students to focus on their strengths or new movement they are working to master, include their own creativity into the sequence, and build confidence in a repeatable combination that can be used in freestyle, battles, and performances.
