New WIP

Many of you know that my family and I (for the last few years) have been aiming to build on family land in Maine. That time has come. This, of course meant that the amazing little magical space we transformed and dug deep into for the last 8 1/2 would need to fall into the hands of another. If you know me, you know this house means the world to me. I remember how it came to me, in a serendipitous moment at an art opening, a comment, a lead I chased so hard and fast I knew it was meant to be. This is a soul-mate house for me. We knew each other long before we ever met. And how we gently took it over from longtime folks who also loved it for almost 30 years before they chose US to live it. We gave it its new life, its next chapter. We re-did every room together with our friends, neighbors, and family. Brian and I came home here first as a couple, then as newlyweds, and then brought two beautiful humans into the world here. Their first home. A mamas first home. I feel like this space holds parts of me that will stay here within the walls and in the forest and the rocks will hold this hard for me. My heart is broken, but I know I’m my deepest soul that the new person is going to find this just as magical and pour all of her love into the transformative and nurturing aspects of this slice of heaven. She gets it. I am also excited to start a new chapter with my little family in a new home build with trees from our land and that we designed and imagined too, one with all of us in mind. That homes first version of its story. What an honor. Thank you Lily Pond, for everything. I came here as a version of myself long ago I and am leaving with so much more than I ever could dream of. I will always have you in my heart, we are connected. Love to you Camp House ❤️❤️

Last night was the opening @3sartspace for the @nhcfoundation Artist Advancement Grant recipients. What a beautiful show!
