My brother ran the London marathon last weekend and I'm very proud of him. So I did him a portrait 🥇
I'm still exploring different stylistic elements and painting methods and learning a lot. This one was quick and much less meticulous. I wanted to see if I can paint portraits with feeling over planning
I like elements but prefer the more detailed portraits to this simpler style. He'll get a proper one too ❤️🔥

The reason I love experimenting so much is that it always manages to shift my perspective one way or another. It might fall flat, pushing me to work out why and course correct. It may come out dope and give me a new style to play with and weave into my existing styles to refresh them. Or, like the last 2 walls, it could provide a moment of clarity and inspiration.
I have absolutely loved painting these tag styles. Something about them makes me feel so free and present. Like I'm 15 years old, sketching for hours after school. I've missed that feeling and I have to follow it where it leads me.
Turns out it gave me a whole new avenue for exploration, which I hope to share soon.
It also reminded me that above all, I love graffiti
