📼 Ambientada en los años ochenta, seguimos la historia de Marcel, un niño con una gran imaginación que, al cumplir años, se enfrenta a la inevitable despedida de su infancia.
🎬 Es mi proyecto más autorreferencial hasta la fecha, en el que exploro la dificultad de un niño hipersensible para aceptar el paso del tiempo y dejar atrás su mundo de fantasía.
🦸🏻♂️Esta película fue un enorme desafío debido a la complejidad de trabajar con niños actores en una época tan particular como la década de los 80’s. Quiero agradecer a todo el equipo por su talento, esfuerzo y dedicación. Sin ustedes nada hubiese sido posible.

✨ I’m thrilled to introduce my new short film: “Marcel’s Piñata”! ✨
📼 Set in the 1980s, the story follows Marcel, a highly imaginative kid, who faces the bittersweet farewell to his childhood has his birthday approaches.
🎬 This is my most personal project yet, exploring the struggles of a hyper sensitive child as he struggles with the passage of time and letting go of his fantasy world.
🦸🏻♂️ Making this film was quite a challenge, especially working with child actors in such a unique era as the ‘80s. I want to thank the entire cast and crew for their incredible talent, hard work, and dedication. This wouldn’t have been possible without you.

I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming short film, a heartfelt tribute to that iconic era where I had the incredible opportunity to write, direct, and act.
With the amazing talent of @mershis in Production Design, @crs.cinema in Direction Of Photography and @amexicanbeauty in Costume Design, we’ve created the perfect atmosphere to go back in time to 1985 for a few minutes. 📽️🎞️
