I have been riding the high over the STARRED review Kirkus gave to ROOMMATING since my publisher delivered the news.
This is my first starred review, and it means so much not only because a major trade (KIRKUS!!) designated my book as exceptional, but because I worked SO hard on this novel and the accolade is the dose of confidence I really need as my pub date creeps closer. I haven't made any bestseller lists yet in my career and don't typically get much recognition from media, so this is huge for me at this stage in my career.
