E N T E R I N G the chat. Last month, I made the decision to leave as “co-founder” of a supplement start-up. I put my title in quotations for one very real reason: I wasn’t treated or respected like a co-founder, but rather, free hired help. And I have too much to offer to be put in a box.
As an entrepreneur, I think there’s a fine line between “sticking it out” and “sticking to your guns.” And the latter will always be more important to me. I dedicated a lot of my time, energy, and put a ton of money into that venture. I had high hopes in the beginning. But at the end of the day, I can’t force others to treat me the way I know I deserve to be treated, nor can I make them give me a real seat at the [executive] table.
I learned a lot of lessons, grew as a person, and now have clarity on what I want to spend my life doing. A non-compete and an NDA were presented to me *after the fact* and ya’ll, I have too much to offer others to sign that sh*t.
This isn’t the end for me, but the very beginning. I wont be coerced or backed into a corner that keeps me from doing what I want to do in this life, all to please and cater to the ego of the founder. I’m no fool. I’ve got a Long road ahead but I couldn’t be more excited.

launch week wasn’t about flipping a switch. it was about getting in front of people, sampling and educating. why their hydration falls short. why “natural flavors” aren’t natural, and how they impact the gut. why potassium and magnesium matter as much as sodium, but no one’s talking about it.
from a morning mall run straight to the gym, the response was the same: the taste was light, natural, not too sweet. like real fruit, not “flavors.” the dual-formula system clicked. most already knew the balance was off, but hadn’t seen a product built to fix it. now they had.
