Newport Pool to Point Ocean Swim. Frankie and I stepped out of our comfort zone of the mountains and dived into the ocean this morning. 400m for Frankie and 2k for me. Swimming out in the deep, dark ocean felt calm, peaceful and meditative. We can't wait to do it again 🌊🥰🏊♀️
@greatsouthernendurancerun 50miles over 4000 vertical metres with most of the climbing after 50k. Thanks to my crew @brecon and Frankie for wiping the blood and snot off my face. Thanks to @mile27ultracoach for the training program and keeping me accountable. Towards the top of mt feathertop, at 62k, I was definitely questioning why I put myself through this. Because I'm no world champion or Olympic athlete. But it's not about being the best, it's about being MY best and doing it for ME. But most importantly its about showing Frankie that women are tough, and we can do anything we set our minds too. 🏃♀️ 🏔
Horse track to Junction Rock with Frankie yesterday. Have wanted to take her to this special place forever. It didn't disappoint. She loved it as much as I do. We swam for hours and didn't see another soul for over 5 hours. So good.
