🌶️🌶️🌶️ ‼️ IMPENDING GRADUATION ‼️⚠️ So, what’s the dream? Film or Theatre? US or International? Live-action or animation/mocap/gaming? Writing? Directing? Producing? Music? Martial arts? Dance? The answer is: All of it… and more. Far more. Because the REAL answer is: My Heavenly Father’s will. Like Jesus did, I want to do. Whatever the Spirit leads me to do, wherever the Spirit leads me to go, there I will be. And I know THAT’S always going to be a huge adventure! I mean, look where I am today compared to a few years ago… Every day is a new day, and I know ill@be continuously surprised. And doing His work means I’m on God’s payroll 💸 God’s Will, God’s Bill, as @danielkelly_dbk says. As much as I want to create art and tell stories that are real, true, life-giving , inspiring… it’s not just about that, but about the people. Speaking life and truth to whoever God brings me to, blessing, praying, transforming, unveiling, revealing, signs, miracles, wonders. Pointing one and all to the fact that the Kingdom is truly here! To their true identities as royal, divine children! I don’t know the exact next steps, but I know the first one after graduation - to rest. When leading up to the wedding. Rest even though it feels like I should be hustling and working and searching and grasping. Because I am learning more and more that there is a season for everything, and that God can do anything in ways that don’t make sense. Look, my reasoning is: if He can get me a husband in two weeks, he can give me a “career” overnight. So timeline doesn’t matter. Age doesn’t matter. It’s all according to plan. Three years ago, all the other schools I wanted (AKA I really only wanted Juilliard and I did 6 rounds of auditions for them) had rejected me. I was wondering what I had quit my job for and wasted all my money for. “People.” God said. WHAT?! I wanted to be an actor! But looking back… those two dark months of mourning and wrestling with God was the best training - spiritually, AND acting - I ever got. I was humbled, angry, grateful, confused. Every day had to be taken one at a time. At least I was with my friend @avery.simmons.chen in her home in Virginia. I became so thankful for the tiniest things, like cooking, or a the songs of a little bird. My mom and sister flew out, and Ispent time with family in Canada, stopped checking my emails and flew home in April. I felt like a complete failure, although still determined to audition again. I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t understand WHY. Then, on the third day back in Singapore, I get a phone call from CalArts. A school I didn’t know anything about. And mind you, I only did a 1 minute virtual audition for them, got called back, and then MISSED my callback watching a Kdrama. And I never signed up to be on their wait list either. And then they call me saying I had a place and a scholarship?! I almost asked to postpone it because I didn’t have a full scholarship, but my mom was like “what are you going to do for a year???” And I was like “I don’t know 😭” and she was like “JUST GO!!!” So… I went. The first year i still felt like I should be in New York. But by the second year, I knew this was where I was supposed to be. And now… I somehow got married to @danielkelly_dbk and am about to graduate with an MFA in Acting. I joke with him (but it is true) that it was because of his prayers that I ended up in California and not New York. He literally prayed me here. And I of course prayed myself here. Never could I have imagined where I would be today - spiritually, emotionally, mentally, relationally. Never. But that’s who God is! He gives MORE than we can imagine and ask for!! So how can He fail now? How can He break His promises now? No. He will not. 📷 by @nogenbeckphoto

Not me posting this a whole year later but in the spirit of all the graduations, I figured I should pull this out of the vault 🤣 I did in fact graduate last May and it’s crazy that it’s already been a YEAR!!! Congratulations to the newly graduated Class of 2026 🥳🙌🏼 WELCOME TO THE OTHER SIDE 🎉🎉 And to my Class of 2025, I am always praying that you flourish fully wherever you are 🌸 May you all walk in the path that is meant for you ❤️

The Lord blessed us through some great friends of ours, and we have gone a total of 6 times for free!!!…We also have had God’s favor on our life to get $100s of dollars worth of things for free and have experiences that only the most high could bring about. Working for God and being a blessing to others isn’t always the easiest of things, but it is always the most rewarding especially when you can do it with your best friend🙏🏽😭
