@melissahibbert has watched indie beauty brands repeatedly struggle to find manufacturers with minimum order quantities suitable for their tight budgets. Too often, they overspend on inventory instead of marketing—sabotaging their future success. Her new venture, Emerge Beauty Innovation Studio, partners with contract manufacturer Crida Labs to offer lower MOQs while educating brands on what it really takes to make it in a crowded beauty market. The result: brands get smarter about their investments, and Crida is able to support more promising brands.
