In honour of International Women’s Day, the Barbados High Commission in Ghana partnered with the @srcghanaschooloflaw to host ‘Her Degree, Her Direction’. This dialogue brought together young legal minds to reflect on the power of education in shaping leadership, agency, and opportunity for women in law and public life.
Beyond celebrating achievement, the event underscored the role of cultural diplomacy in strengthening ties between nations. When institutions from Barbados and Ghana collaborate to support emerging leaders, we create spaces where ideas and experiences are shared across borders.
Law students represent the next generation of policymakers, advocates, and diplomats. Engaging them through platforms like this is an investment in gender equality and the future of international cooperation.
