Update on the fast: For those interested- Saturday morning was the break of his fast, he had chicken broth. When you haven’t eaten in 40 days, there’s a concern of getting sick if you go straight into eating normal again. So he’s following a “re-feeding” program from our trusted friend and Doctor. He had clear broth for the first 3 days and now he’s having puréed root vegetables and broth together. Many people are asking what he had during the 40 days. All he consumed was 1 black coffee in the morning, water with a dash of salt and lemon throughout the day, and an herbal hot tea at night. The only solid he consumed was the Eucharist on Sundays at Church. **He did receive 4 total IV’s with a mix of vitamins throughout the 40 days. He also got his blood drawn right before he started the fast and on day 39. We will be doing a podcast on @team_neverquit once he gets the bloodwork back to go over what it changed metabolically. Also- Marcus is in no way recommended anyone do this. He did this for spiritual reasons, he used this time for discernment and intense prayer time. It is interesting to see the physical before and after, so we will keep you posted on this journey. By Thanksgiving week, he will be back to eating normally
